Rock FM is a new, small and independent radiostation which has a broadcasting liicense for the community of Nesodden just outside Oslo. People in the whole county of Oslo and Akershus can listen to our broadcasts on FM 100,6 mHz..
The broadcasts will also stream live on the internet together with the FM-transmissions (simulcasts) , and streams will also be able to listen to after the broadcast hour.
We are also running a 24-hour webradio. Our FM shows will be replayed after a fixed schedule on our webcasts.

Rock FM is mainly formatted as a classic rock station, which means that we play rock music released during the 60's, 70's and 80's. We aim to recreate the sound of Album Oriented Rock stations of that period and will probably appeal mainly to adults rather than to teenagers. We will also play a limited amount of current releases stylistically consistent with our main format.
Rock FM made it's debut on FM on january 1st 2010. Our time on air is limited to
11pm to midnight CET, (10pm GMT, 2pm PST, 4pm CST, 5pm EST) each day from monday to friday. We will also broadcast two hours on sundays, but the time is not decided yet.
